Ragdoll Pet Owners Testimonials - Julia's Dreamdolls

California Dreamin' - Pictures from Pet Owners

On this page we have endeavoured  to present an online referral service, of sorts. It pleases us that those who have taken a Dreamdolls Kitten into their lives are so happy and we want to continue the trend. We have never had anyone express anything but love and pleasure for their Ragdoll kitten. Infact we have heard such wonderful things that we are both proud and happy to share a few of them with you. Some of the following Dreamdolls adopters have even set up web pages. All of these Ragdolls were sold as pets and as such have been responsibly Spayed or Neutered.

From: Wendy Taker  (Canada)

"I meant to tell you I often go to a Ragdoll chat program on the  net with Ragdoll lovers and owners and several people have commented to me that they've been in touch and are on your waiting list :):) Love it!! I must tell you I say nice things but warn them that I got the VERY best bunny from Dreamdolls.. they all smile and say "of course you did".. trying to humour me... Ha!! They don't realize I'M SERIOUS!!!! ... oh Julia, I don't know if I told you or not..... but Jessica just loves tea.. she sticks her head in the cup and drinks from it. So today I poured two cups.. one for each of us :) - Wendy

Maggie

Future Ragdoll owners of America,

Recently my wife and I made the decision to purchase a Ragdoll kitten. After some research, we decided to contact some of the breeders. We checked locally and found that although Julia’s Ragdoll’s were not the closest Cattery to our home, the distance didn’t seem important after Julia described how she lovingly ships her kittens. She shared with us how she allows her breeding females to have a life after a few litters and that she won’t ship any kittens until they are at least twelve weeks old. In addition to what she told us, we were very interested and concerned as to how we would receive the kitten. After Julia described how she ships her kittens and the vast experience she has there was no doubt in our minds who we were going to buy our Maggie from. When the big day came, we went to the airport and waited patiently for the airline representative to secure the precious little cargo and bring it to us. Our Maggie was inside a quality small animal carrier, lined with a baby blanket with a nice soft pad underneath and a generous supply of kitten food taped to the top.We have been in contact with Julia recently about the purchase of another kitten. We feel very comfortable working with Julia. She has been very helpful answering ALL of our questions. She will be our breeder of choice for many years to come. We would not hesitate to recommend Julia or her “Dreamdolls” to anyone. Should you wish to contact us, feel free to send an e-mail. We would be glad to share our experience with you.

Sincerely, Randy and Sherry Vigallon (Sacramento Ca.)

Koko and Chelsea

Nancy Colbert, ( Arizona) on the topic of a second Dreamdolls kitten says-

Glad to hear that 'baby' is doing great. Hope she's as well-behaved as Chelsea has been. She, by the way, is sitting right here with me... Always a shadow / goes wherever you go but she doesn't sleep with me. She'll come in and meow for me to get up (personal alarm clock!) at 6am or so, but goes somewhere else in the house during the night. Never wakes me up during the night with the 'midnight crazies' that I read others experience. So lucky in that respect also. What can I say .... she's been a dream! Talk soon. Nancy

the baby (no more) Koko

Chelsea, laid back- at only 18 months and 17lbs she is about to discover dieting

Maddie

Dear Julia and Gary,

Hi, How are you? Just a quick note to let you know that Maddie got her shots today and the vet said she was in excellent health. She seems to have settled into her new home really well too. She is so precious and a wonderful additional to our house and family. Thank you for everything. Keep in touch.

Sincerely, Debbie and Drew

Cassanova

Seal mitted male

Dear Julia,

We can't believe how big Cassanova is getting! I got back his registration from TICA today and no one had taken his name, so I got it! Needless to say I was excited. I bought him some hairball stuff since he likes to clean himself alot and a scratcher that goes on the wall. That way he can get a good brushing any time he wants.  He is so full of personality - he follows me everywhere! I do have a few pictures to send you so I will try to get them in the mail tomorrow.I will talk to you again soon!               Love, Candy

Jim

Hi Julia - Haven't talked to you in awhile so I thought I should update you on Jim's progress. He is absolutely adorable. We say he has the face of an angel, a coat that feels like angora and the personality of "The Tasmanian Devil"! He races around our house at the speed of a jet plane and we are continually being entertained by his antics. He follows me at my feet, all around the house to the point that I have to be ever alert as to not trip over him. We've taken him with us to our beach house a couple of times and he travels very well. He's really a terrific guy and we can't tell you how much joy he brings. We really, really love him. He's getting pretty big already - almost 10 pounds and he's only 6 months old! He has such a cute personality. He truly is the kitten of our dreams! We adore him. Thank you so much for sharing!

Thanks again Julia - Jim sends his love too.

Thor

Thor is a Mitted Bicolor

Thor is the coolest cat that I've ever known. A lot of people told me that I was nuts for getting a cat and I never listened to them. I must admit, I really never liked cats. Somehow I knew that this was a good move. Everybody loves Thor and can't believe how smart and loving he is.

Chuck

Johnny Angel

Dear Julia,

Oh my goodness, I am so happy with "Johnny"! He is smart, vocal, and very

VERY loving. He knew his name by the end of the day. The vet said he

was extremely healthy when we took him on Wednesday. Thank you! He is so

exceptional and we are delighted with him. He is very much at home, seems

content and loves his new cat tree. - Love, Cathy

Eric and Leigh Ann Wrote:

Dear Julia,

Hello, how are you today? This is Eric And Leigh Ann from Texas. Tawny is doing great she fits in like we had her forever. She gets along with all the other pets great. We had a little problem with teigra, our stray cat, at first but now it is like they were sisters. They play with each other all the the time now. This is great Teigra needed a friend or sister to play with. I made a webpage at this free webpage place on the web. I put pictures of tawny on it so you can see her. We had to bring her outside to get her eyes to look good and so you can see her color. she is getting darker by the week. When we first got her she was almost pure white. We didn't get good pictures of her then she was just to white she looked like a flash with eyes. The picture of her in the hammock swing is my favorite her eyes look great. WE DIDNT TOUCH THEM UP. I wouldn't know how. here is the address

Diego

Blue Lynxpoint BiColor

Hi Julia, We got Diego's registration back and now we can officially call him Diego. He is so good when it comes to clipping his nails. As long as you cuddle him in-between paws he's fine. One of Tim's friends came over about a week ago, and when she walked in, Diego flopped at her feet belly up. While we were laughing, he looked at her, "MYA!" and twisted on top of her feet. I told her that she wouldn't be able to move until he got a belly rub. This past weekend, Tim got up to watch cartoons and I slept in.When I woke up, Diego was on my chest, Bell draped across my waist, and Claussen was curled around my chin. Needless to say, I was having a hard time breathing, and was a little light-headed, but it was a wonderful way to wake just the same. Hope things are going wonderfully for you -- give all your babies kisses for me! Cari

Doug

Hi Julia! We sure love our little Doug. He is unbelievable with his boundless energy and wanting to be with us every minute. He is about the size of a bear cub. I will send the contract back this week with some pictures. Vicki and Bill came to see him Sunday. They love him too. They can't believe Garfield was ever that small. Doug seems like a HUGE kitten to us, especially next to the little Scooter. They are chasing each other around the house like they have been doing it all their lives. She sort of is the boss--as of now.

Love, Mary.

Zorro

Christine Laird, South Carolina

Dear Julia, 'Zorro" is an absolute delight. He is already at home in our big house, is eating well and is totally trained to his litter box. He lets the kids carry him all through the house and follows us all around. I do believe he's the most wonderful kitten I've ever been around. Best regards, Christine

Joseph and Sara

Greetings!

Joseph and Sarah are getting quite big now. Sarah is more independent and Joseph loves to be loved. At 8:30 pm sharp he seeks me out, wraps his arms around my lower leg and continues to pull until I get up and go to bed. It's His bed time and he feels I must go also. He runs in front of me all the while looking back to make sure I am coming. When I climb into bed he climbs in with me and sleeps at my side till morning. He is so full of personality. Hope you're all well. John & Marian

Joseph the personality cat..

Sarah, miss independent..

Julia,

Our beautiful kitten is doing well! He slept next to my pillow most of the night, nuzzling into my neck occasionally. He is so adorable and lovable and affectionate. He loves to be touched and has the sweetest nature and the softest, most angelic appearance! He is presently exploring his new home and when he wanders away from us he cries to tell us that he got lost and we of course immediately rescue him. Sebastian is still adjusting to him, but has improved since last night. I'm glad you told me to wait a few days for them to adjust; I'm not so nervous about it now. Sebastian is keeping a close eye on the kitten; he reached out a paw sweetly while the kitten was taking a bath earlier.

We couldn't have dreamed for a sweeter, more beautiful kitten! Thank you so much! (He has been sitting in my lap from time to time while I have written this message!)

Have a wonderful weekend!

Trina and Jeff

Ceasar

Hi Julia,

Where do I begin? Ceasar is growing up to be quite a wonderful kitty. He is just over five months old, and weighs 9lbs!!! I think I got the big guy I was hoping for. He is just beautiful!!! Truly a striking cat. Each day that goes by he gets a little bigger and a little more handsome. I think his colors are coming in beautifully!! And Julia, I have NEVER felt or saw a coat like Ceasar has!!! The softest, prettiest and most wonderful fur. It is the best after I comb him. So soft and luxurious, truly!!!

He has been pretty independent up till now. I must admit I do now have somewhat of a snuggle-bunny, on HIS terms. He does give me tummy all the time <g>. He will come up to me at least once a day and paw my leg for me to hold him. Those are the best times. That motor boat purr starts going and I hug him all up. Not for very long, he thinks he's pretty tough you know. He doesn't play as much, he's starting to settle down. When he was smaller, he used to attack us constantly. He actually used to jump on little Mike's back and bite his neck!!!! It was such a roar!!! He never hurt anyone, it was all in fun. He still plays, but not that kitten rough-house we were used to. My baby is growing up.

Love, Diane

Nala

I can only say good things about my experience with Julia, getting Nala, the beautiful Ragdoll girl on the right. I was concerned that she and my Tiger Lily would get along OK. They were best friends within 3 days, and after 6 weeks, would be lost without each other.

Thanks, Brad

Tanner

Hello, Gary & Julia!! We saw the vet for his last round of shots last week. He now weighs 4lbs. HE IS THE MOST WONDERFUL KITTEN IN THE WORLD. Having been a "dog family" all of these years, we put off Katelyn's request for a cat for about 3 years. Now we are SOOOO HAPPY with Tanner that we've become a "cat family" too. He is smart & handsome & funny & loveable & the love of our lives. You guys are THE BEST. Thank you, again, for the wonderful job you do in breeding these beautiful cats. Experience, devotion, integrity and lots of TLC are abundant at Dreamdolls. Our Tanner is living proof.

Take care and love to all. Jann

Brutus and Skimble

Brutus decided to help me paint the hallway, Skimble decided to take a nap waiting for the files to download

(early letter) Julia and Gary,

I can't tell you how much joy Skimble and Brutus have brought to our family! Both boys are up to almost eight pounds each. They are really beginning to blossom. I have just finished our weekly grooming ritual -- claw trimming, teeth brushing, and a comb out. Now they are enjoying their weekly special treat of sharing a small can of Fancy Feast (reserved for Sunday nights only). After they finish washing their hands and face, like all good little boys do, they will be in here under my feet wanting to cuddle. I love the evenings the best! By the way, their colors are coming in just wonderfully! Brutus' tail and ears (except for the white angel kisses) are getting quite dark and the tan is beginning to come through on his back and his face mask. Skimble's coat still looks quite white until you get in a certain light. Then it looks kind of pinkish grayish beige. Just this past week people have begun to be able to tell them apart by the color of their coats (I could always tell - but as their adoptive mommy, I should be able to).

I can never thank you enough for all the happiness and laughter the boys have brought to my family,

Alisa

(another two!) Dear Julia and Gary,

Just checking on what you might have available for spring kittens. I keep telling myself to be patient -- after all, I have Skimble and Brutus to enjoy and love on every day. But now that I have definitely decided to add to my furry family, I'm getting excited and anxious again <G> Well, no one *ever* said that patience was on of my strong suits (if they did, they were telling a colossal fib) S&B send purrs and head butts!  Chat soon, Alisa

Julia,

Hello and how are you. We are doing GREAT!!!! Benja has got to be the most wonderful cat in the world. I was really afraid that she would hide under our bed all night last night, but a minute or two after the lights went out, here she came. She jumped up into the middle of our bed and slept in between Nickey and I all night long. She was an absolute angel. She woke me up this morning purring in my ear. It was great. She is still hiding some, not much though. She prefers to come around most when everything is quiet. She is really starting to let the kids love on her. She is sitting on the computer desk right now as I am typing this letter. She is punching numbers on the adding machine. I had friends dropping in off and on all day. They all loved her and thought that she was the most beautiful cat they had ever seen. She's had lots of attention. Well, I'd better go for now. I just wanted to let you know that she is doing great. Talk to you soon.

Love, Lisa

Hi Julia:

Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy my "Riley" that I bought from you five years ago and you shipped him to Walnut Creek, CA. Actually we have lived in San Antonio, TX for the past 4 years and he is a wonderful, healthy and beautiful pet. We just love him and I call him my gentle giant. He is about 16lbs and has had no health problems what so ever. Glad to know you are still breeding and most people in SA have never seen a ragdoll and he is a "big hit". Thanks for a wonderful buddy.
